A Real Estate Equity Investment consists of a consumer owning a fraction of an asset, in this case, Real Estate. Similar to a stock on the stock exchange if your Real Estate asset produces a profit you, the equity investor, would receive a financial benefit. As an equity investor your ownership percentage shall remain constant, what could fluctuate is the value of the asset.
